Today i heard a young woman say ‘i am as unique as a snowflake, so are you’ and i thought it was really sweet. To be honest i didnt know all snowflakes were unique, i though they were just blobs of white soft ice. But turns out they are unique and if you think about it  that it is really incredible.

These are real snowflakes under the microscope. Arn’t they beautiful. Nature really is the greatest artist.

Ive been bored this evening and when im bored i tend to spend money which is a bad habit. Tonight ive been online shopping for a future night out. I am going on a girly cocktail night to one of the most amazing bars in the world ‘Nightjar’ (actually rated num 2 in the world of best bars officially).and its theme is based on the era of the war. Kind of an underground prohibition style bar in Shoreditch. Its beautiful and the cocktails are amazing, some even containing rare spirits such as a Straight Rye whisky from 1863 (£60 a shot).

Me and Charles went last week and every drink is a work of art. Their tapas is delicious too. It is a truly beautiful experience that i would recommend to anyone living in London or anyone visiting. Note: No standing policy, you have to book a table in advance. Try and book between 8-9 when the live music is on. http://www.barnightjar.com

When we went last week i ordered the ‘Naked Lady’. It is a rum based cocktail finished with an egg white foam. Egg white seems to be a popular ingredient in cocktails at the moment and i like it, it gives a wonderful velvety feel to the drink. As i said each cocktail is a work of art and is decorated in theme with its ingredients. As there is egg white in this drink it was adorned with half a real egg shell filled with chocolate eggs. This made me extremely happy and i think i did a little squeal when i first laid eyes on it.

He then ordered this crazy cocktail (as pictured below) which was garnished with a piece of the most potent cake i have ever tasted and a slab of white chocolate on the top. (Dont come to night jar on a diet)

This place really is as unique as a snowflake <3

We then moved on to Empire casino in Leicester Sq. The cocktails continued. I really like Empire casino, there is something about the place that makes me happy.

maylis boardmanSo back to the original point, for my next trip to Nightjar with the girls i bought these ↓. I know a lot of people wouldn’t like these lol but i love stuff like this. Anything that is lace and overly feminine, romantic or poetic looking and i want to be in it. Makes me feel special and pretty. Like im from another time and another place walking down a grand staircase.

My new favourite restaurant in London is actually super cheap! Costs about £8 a head. It is called ‘Pho’ and the food is AMAZING! Its literally the most tasty dishes i have ever eaten in my life and every time i introduce someone new there they become addicted too. It is Vietnamese and the menu is small but everything on there is so tasty especially the squid and the Vermicelli noodles.  If you ever get the opportunity you really should go here (they have 4 in London). I actually fantasise about this place when i havnt been for a week or 2.Gogogogogogo

Im really enjoying the book im reading at the moment. Its called ‘Memoirs of a Geisha’. Its pretty well known and they made a film out of it i think. Im really enjoying it and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good new book. I read it whilst wearing my new TopShop Christmas pyjamas which are also cuter than cute.

top shop jamis I am going to Prague on Sunday which im excited about. Even though the gear box on my car did decide to break 1 week before Prague and 2 weeks before Christmas grrrrr. I hate that car so much! Daily i feel like grabbing one of my most spikiest high heels and hitting my car all over with it then pushing its battered body in a river. I need a new one but wanted to wait until mid 2014. May as well buy a new one that car costs me hundreds of pounds every month on repairs. I could actually be driving and Audi A5 around for the amount im paying monthly. Stupid ugly broken car.

If you have any Prague tips or know any good spots let me know as I am a Prague virgin and know nothing. XXX
